Kazakhstan’s Data Centre Expansion Opens Opportunities for Technology Ventures

On 6 November, Kazakhstan confirmed preliminary agreements with Gaw Capital, Boosteroid and Firebird to deploy 480 MW of computing capacity in the second phase of Data Centre Valley, with potential expansion to 620 MW. The wider project aims to reach 1 GW by 2029, while projected annual export revenue could reach $3.1 billion. No separate venture-capital fund or startup investment amount was announced. This creates opportunities for AI startups, cloud-service providers and technology entrepreneurs; HPC can support investor connections, commercial partnerships and technology market entry.
