Nepal and ILO Discuss Expansion of Employment and Skills Services
On 3 November, Nepal’s Labour Minister Ramjee Yadav met ILO Country Director Numan Özcan to discuss expanding employment, skills-development and entrepreneurship services across all 753 local government units. The discussions focused on strengthening local employment and skills centres, but no programme budget or service fee was announced. This creates opportunities for vocational training providers, recruitment agencies and workforce consultants. HPC can support talent research, skills partnerships and employment programme planning.
